I am not sure if this works in other chromium browsers, I could not find the Apps menu in Chrome and Chromium, it just creates a shortcut and nothing else. But I have never tested it and it’s unofficial, so I would look for users feedback first… It’s an official Whatsapp web site meaning as trustable as Whatsapp phone app.
